What is USE-IT?
USE-IT Guimarães stand for no-nonsense, free tips written by locals, for interested and curious travellers who want to visit the cities in a non-conventional manner. It is published both in a paper version and an iphone App.
USE-IT Guimarães comes from the same team that already produced USE-IT Porto, USE-IT Funchal, USE-IT Braga and USE-IT Coimbra, and is part of an European network with more than 40 cities, like Brussels, Prague, Oslo or Bordeaux, and stands for quality when it comes to independent tourism.
USE-IT is tourist info for young people, in more than 40 cities in Europe.
USE-IT is made by locals: we don't work with travel journalists but with locals.
USE-IT is not commercial: nobody pays to be included on the maps.
USE-IT maps are free. You find them in hostels and tourist infos.
USE-IT is for young travellers: no 5-star hotels, no business dinners.
USE-IT is up-to-date: new editions are made every year.
USE-IT is not a trendy guide, it's about the life and soul of the city.
USE-IT is honest: no publicity, no marketing nonsense.
